Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Unveiling On July 20 + EXCLUSIVE First Images
I am currently being told by one of my sources that Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 should be unveiled on Monday, July 20. Along with that, Tabletmonkeys also got an exclusive first view of the official images of both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (SM-T810) and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T710).

(UPDATED, August 26: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be launched on September 3 in the US:

The 2nd generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is upgraded with a new Super AMOLED display, new resolution, a more powerful processor, while slimming down at the same time.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch (SM-T810) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T710) will have the new 4:3 aspect ratio which makes web browsing more convenient. The screen size itself is also changed from 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch to 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch.
The resolution is also changed to 2048 x 1536 pixels on the display, just like an iPad Air 2. The processor was perhaps the only thing that was holding the first generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S back, so the new 2015 – 2016 Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 models will feature the 64-bit octa-core Samsung Exynos 5433 processor instead. It also has 3GB of RAM.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has become thinner and lighter too, I mean really light, with a thickness of just 5,6 mm and weight of 389 grams for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, and a weight of just 265 grams for the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, earning both of them the title of the lightest 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch tablet in the world.
The OS upon launch will at least be Android 5.0.2 or newer, but if it's Android 5.1 depends on the market you buy it in. The price of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets in Euros and US Dollars is 399 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, 499 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, and an additional 99 for the cellular 4G LTE version (SM-T815/817 and SM-T715/717) of this tablet.
Samsung have already quietly confirmed the existence of this tablet as Tabletmonkeys discovered recently (see article below), so now we are just waiting for the launch and release. Samsung's new Tab S2 should start taking orders soon after the unveiling.
