Xiaomi Pad 6 Unveiled – Well Equipped 11-Inch Tablet With Optional Pen And Keyboard

It will launch in China first on April 21, where it’s actually released for from 1999 Yuan and and up.

This is a near flagship type of tablet, just a nudge behind the more expensive Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

Xiaomi Pad 6 meanwhile is an 11-inch tablet with a 2880 x 1800 resolution display, a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, brightness up to 550 nits, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the screen.

Model options are between 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, all of which is combined with the octa-core 3.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

It also has higher end specs such as 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos, and even 4 mics, an 8MP front camera with center framing of people during video calls, a 13MP rear camera with 4K video, a 16.5 hour battery life from the 8840 mAh battery with 33W charging and QC 4 and PD 3 fast charge support, Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.2, and a USB C 3.2 Gen 1 port.

It runs the Android 13 based MIUI Pad 14 user interface, with additional specs being an accelerometer, gyro, ambient light sensor, a magnetic pen, and an optional keyboard.

It also doing well on the exterior side with a thickness of 6.51mm and a weight of 490 grams. The color options at launch are black, gold, and blue.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard that will be available in black or white has the NFC chip to the right of the trackpad that we’ve already written about, which Xiaomi says is for the fastest and easiest possible file transfer between the Xiaomi tablet and other devices, like a smartphone.

The 2nd gen digitizer pen has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a long battery life, with instant charging for 7 hours of use in 1 minute, as well as a magnetic connection to the tablet.
