Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) Released For $399 In USA – With 11.2″ OLED Display

It's only been a week since the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) was announced at the IFA trade show in Germany, but today it already started taking orders in the US, with two model options:

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) is an 11.2-inch tablet with a high-end OLED display that features a 2560 x 1536 resolution display, 100% DCI-P3, and support for both an optional keyboard and the 4096 pressure sensitive Lenovo Precision Pen 3 which charges wirelessly when attached magnetically to the back of the tablet.

The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and can be turned up to a brightness of as much as 600 nits, which is beneficial in very strong light outdoors. There's support for external monitors too through the USB C port, at a capacity of 4K and 60Hz.

Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) is released with Android 12, but Lenovo has clearly stated that this tablet will receive both updates to Android 13 as well as Android 14 in the coming years.

The processor is the new octa-core 2.6 GHz MT8797 processor in the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T series with a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, which gives it a benchmark score of 754 in single-core and 2725 in multi-core scores in Geekbench 5, which is a 50% higher score in multi-core than what we would get from alternatives like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022.

Model options that are launching the next days, are between the 4GB RAM model for $399, or the 6GB RAM model for a price of $429, both of which have LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The other specs are very good on this tablet too. It has a long 14 hour battery life from the 8000 mAh battery with 20W charging support, and a full charge can be reached in 2.25 hrs.

It then has dual-band a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and mobile sensors such as GPS, GLONASS, accelerometer, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, coulomb counter (battery gauge), e-compass, gyroscope, hall sensor, and a vibrator.

Lenovo has placed a lot of emphasis on tablet speakers for many years, so in line with that tradition the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) has four 1W side facing JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, and dual mics as well.

It has an 8MP front camera with an 83-degree field of view and facial unlocking, and a 13MP rear camera with an 88-degree field of view, a LED flash/light, and 4K video recording support at 30 fps.

Ports and connectors includes a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, pogo pins for the optional keyboard, and a microSD card slot that supports memory cards all the way up to 1TB in size.

The tablet chassis is made out of magnesium alloy with a weight of 480 grams and a thickness of just 6.8mm.

So in conclusion, the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) is packed with good specs and hardware, and is entering the market at a price point that nobody else is in with this screen size and high degree of specs.

And in that category, this is the best value tablet there is right now.
