Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Pre-Orders In the US – November 2 Release
So good news if you've just been waiting to get your hands on the waterproof new Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact (SGP612) in the US, as Sony is now taking pre-orders for this tablet ahead of a November 2 release date.
The US release follows just a few days behind the European release, and it's not shipping too soon in either of the markets.
The price is $499.99 at Sony though. Yeah, iPad Air 2 price.
Or on more comparable terms, the upcoming 8.9-inch HTC Nexus 9 or the Super AMOLED Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 costs $399, while yesterdays released new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 costs $379 (with the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor), and Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 costs around $349, and all of these tablets have great displays with even higher resolution, and on Samsung's models, more features too.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is a real powerhouse with its 3GB of RAM and 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, it's a high quality tablet and have a few good features, but the high price may perhaps only be justified by people who specifically need either the hardware power, the waterproofing, or by someone who can afford to love Sony that much.
