(Asus Tablets 2015 page last updated on April 8, 2015.)
Asus is set to stay committed to tablets in 2015, with a wider range of tablet computers than ever before. There are upgrades on popular models coming, as well as an increasing list of new tablets and 2-in-1's, running Android or Windows. With an already strong portfolio of 20 tablet models from 2013 and 2014 that are now in the marketplace, Asus gives us a great choice as consumers, with many configuration options to chose between on most of these tablets.
So what are the new Asus tablets in 2015? Here's the complete list of the new Asus tablets officially destined for launch this year.
Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi
The Chi version have a couple of differences from the non-Chi model of the otherwise same name, such as a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution display in the 10.1-inch screen. It's very similar otherwise though, with Windows 8.1, up to 2GB RAM, and the quad-core Intel Atom Z3775 processor.
Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi
There's another Asus T300 2-in-1 launching in 2015 too as we see, and that's the 12.5-inch with options of 2560 x 1440 resolution or Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution on this Windows 8.1 tablet we see here. The model options offers choices of different Intel Core M processors, 4GB to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage.
Asus Transformer Book T90 Chi
Asus needed a tablet with the 8.9-inch form factor for 2015, since we regard this as the “new hot” tablet dimension of 2015. So the Taiwanese company came up with the Asus T90 Chi, which is a Windows 8.1 tablet with a HD display of 1280 x 800 pixels in the 8.9-inch screen. It's powered by a Intel Atom “Bay Trail” Z3775 processor, and have specs that are generally a notch above it's rivals, without going over budget or too high in specifications. The launch price is $299.
Asus Transformer Book T300FA
Already available in Europe, this is a 12.5-inch Windows 8.1 / Windows 8.1 Pro 2-in-1 tablet that people had great hopes for, due to the Intel Core M processor speeding up computing on the inside. It has up to 8GB RAM, and swappable hard drives, with a maximum capacity of 1TB storage.
Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K)
This is a 10.1-inch budget tablet with Android and 1280 x 800 resolution. The price should be very low, and that's the main point of this tablet, to offer a entry level 10.1-inch Android tablet.
Asus ZenPad
Leaked in February 2015 as a brand new line of high-end Android tablets with very sleek design.
In addition to these tablets we also expect some new PadFone tablets this year, and we have also spotted some unannounced Asus tablets in benchmark tests, but it's still too early to tell what kind of tablets they will actually become.
