New Lenovo Tablet Upgrades Spotted
A few new Leonvo tablets have been indicated being in production, and might be released just as the the back-to-school shopping season kicks off.
(UPDATED: The new Lenovo Miix 3 8 (830) was launched in September, and Lenovo Miix 3 10.1 in October.)
One tablet is the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, which is the least tablet form factor of the three, since this expected to be another notebook where the screen can be flipped around and used as its own stand, like a raised tent. The spotting of the Yoga 3 Pro was seen when it was certification listed, as seen in the image below. So we can assume it's a new 13.3-inch Windows 8.1 Pro computer device, but don't know much else yet.
Two other Lenovo tablets are the new Lenovo Yoga 2 10-inch and 8-inch. The original Lenovo Yoga Tablet had the built-in kickstand which also gave it an 18 hour battery life. Tech writers didn't warm to this kind of Android tablet much, but customers have loved it. It was released in October 2013, while the Full HD version Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ was released in May this year.
And last but not least, we are seeing what may be possible listings of both a Full HD version of the 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet Lenovo Miix 2 as well, which would be an upgrade from the 1280 x 800 resolution that has been the only option so far, and we are also seeing a possible Lenovo Miix 3-830 listed, which very much sounds like a successor.
