14-Inch Large Tablet Xiaomi Pad 6 Max Expected To Launch In August

By the looks of it, we should be pretty close to the launch of Xiaomi's largest tablet to date, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max.

The first time we heard of this tablet was when the keyboard for the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max popped up when it had been certified by the Bluetooth certification body.

Since then it's been believed to be a 14-inch tablet that'll be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ G1 processor which will launch now in August.

But now Xiaomi follower Kacper Skrzypek has dug out new information about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet, even including the placeholder for it on: https://www.mi.com/xiaomi-pad-6-max (not in use at the moment).

In addition to that info, we can also see that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max shares the same fast file sharing features that the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro both have, where a smartphone can quickly connect to the tablet via NFC even on the keyboard for immediate connectivity between the two devices.

Larger tablets is an increasingly popular product category that's here to stay, with the largest Android tablets at the moment being the Lenovo Tab Extreme and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra that's launching next week.

Unfortunately, Skrzypek says that the new large Xiaomi tablet will be limited to a launch in China only. Which is a shame, since a Xiaomi Focus Pen also showed up with the Bluetooth registrar last week, and we've also seen that Xiaomi has hands free gesture support coming in the future.
