Samsung Showcases 17-Inch Slidable Display
During Intel Innovation Day 2022, Samsung showcased what they call the world's first 17-inch slidable display for PCs.
The slidable display is similar to the rollable display that LG once showcased too, but also never released, despite plans to do so.
This 17-inch slidable display is not a ready product that's going to get launched just yet, but the first rollable or slidable large displays are likely to hit the market in 2023 or 2024.
These will then come in addition to the foldable tablets that are launching this year and next from Asus, Lenovo, and HP.
Last year it was believed that a foldable Samsung tablet would launch this year, but we have not seen any traces of it since then.
