Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Release Starts August 4 In Hong Kong
The new 2nd generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be released on August 4, starting in Hong Kong. The Super AMOLED tablet is now accepting orders in the US too from three different stores, with delivery the same week, even if the listing hasn't been spelled correctly.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 models that will become available next week are the black and white Wi-Fi models of both the 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch models. Following that, the gold colored version of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Wi-Fi models will be made available from the middle of August, at the same time as the 4G LTE version will be launched. And then finally Samsung will launch the gold colored version with 4G LTE at the end of August. So that's three different launch dates.

The accompanying features depends on the market it is bought in, like in Hong Kong it comes with features like for instance Manga e-books and Japanese and Chinese travel books. So this won't apply to the tablets sold in the US naturally.
Samsung is also launching some accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, like a Keyboard Cover for the 9.7-inch version. The keyboard has changed considerably from that of last year, with a much more portable feel to it than the previous model. A new Book Cover is also created for it, which will become available in white, black, red, and gold.
The same great docking station Multimedia Dock MT800 that fits the 1st generation tablets, also fits the second generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. So that's highly recommended with its micro-USB port/cable, Ethernet port, two USB ports, one micro-USB port, a full sized HDMI port and 4K support. This docking station is generally difficult to get hold of in the US though, so you might want to pick one up if you're abroad during your summer vacation.
