Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Approved With Android 10 Too

Yesterday we saw that the Android 10 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (SM-T510) had been officially approved. And today yet another Samsung tablet has been approved with the Android 10 update, namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) (SM-T290 / SM-T295) is an 8-inch Android HD tablet that was launched in July last year with Android 9.0 and a $149 price tag.

Today’s Android 10 certification from the Wi-Fi alliance officially proves that the Android 10 update will be rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 in the months ahead, though we still don’t know exactly when.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a couple of things going for it in this price range, like a long battery life, a Samsung display, 8MP rear camera, but a new Samsung tablet in the 8-inch category was ultimately launched by Samsung anyway, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) 4G back in March.
