Platform

Operating System OS => Every computer system run on a base software called Operating System (OS). Operating System controls all basic operations of the computer (such as smartphone, PDAs, tablet computers and other handheld devices). The Operating System allows the user to install and run third party applications (apps), apps are used to add new functionality to the device. Android 11
SIM SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small card that contains mobile network subscriber's account information. This allows the phone using the card to attach to a mobile network. The SIM card is most commonly associated with GSM and UMTS mobile networks. Moving a SIM card from one phone to another allows a subscriber to switch mobile phones without having to contact their mobile network carrier. SIM cards can also be used by a phone to store limited amounts of data, such as phone numbers and text messages. Dual SIM

Battery

Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 5580 mAh
Battery Life 6-8 hours
Charging 5W wired

Camera

Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. No

Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews I think it works well enough as a secondary device for media consumption and GPS navigation. The build quality is okay but feels cheap with its all plastic body. The display resolution and camera quality aren't great, but they are functional and usable.

  • Performance 6 / 10
  • Display 5 / 10
  • Battery 8 / 10
  • Design 5 / 10

Chinese manufacturer Blackview has unveiled its latest tablet, the 8-inch Tab 6, aiming to deliver a compact Android slate with ample functionality at an affordable price point.

It packs middling yet capable specs, headlined by a Unisoc quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, and a large 5580mAh battery.

Design & Display

The Tab 6 sports a no-frills plastic construction measuring 8.17 x 4.88 x 0.37 inches and weighing 12.88 ounces. It feels a bit cheap but enables easy one-handed use.

A 1280×800 IPS screen spans the front with an adequate 189 ppi density although not the sharpest.

Viewing angles seem fair based on early hands-on reviews. The bezels measure close to an inch but aid grip.

Performance & Features

An entry-level Unisoc T310 chipset powers the tablet paired with 3GB RAM. It handles basic functions relatively smoothly but can lag with more intensive apps.

Still, the Tab 6 tackles web browsing, video streaming, GPS navigation, e-reading, simple gaming, and productivity tasks without much fuss.

The ample battery lasts over 10 hours of mixed usage on a charge. Disappointingly, the rear camera records video only in 720p resolution – no 1080p option offered.

Decent Budget Option

The Blackview Tab 6 is an affordable tablet suited for undemanding users, especially children. The compact size facilitates portability while battery endurance impresses.

On the downside, the display quality proves subpar, exhibiting pixelation with muted colors and poor contrast compared to premium slates.

Processing Pep also falls short of top-tier tablets. Still, given its budget-friendly pricing, buyers shouldn't expect cutting-edge performance or flashy visuals.

Those seeking a starter or secondary tablet for web access, videos, and lightweight gaming may find the Tab 6 offers suitable functionality.

But shoppers desiring strong multitasking capabilities, graphical prowess, brilliant displays, high-grade cameras, and polished designs will need to pay for pricier models.

Ultimately, Blackview seems to have achieved its aim of delivering a serviceable mini tablet covering the basics without completely draining wallets.
