Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews While I was impressed by aspects like the display and performance relative to the cost, I would caution that software update support may be lacking over time. So it may not be the best pick for those prioritizing long term updates.

User Reviews 2 In my experience, the performance seemed decent - games ran smoothly with no jitteriness that I noticed. I liked the look and feel of the tablet with its squared-off edges and metal design. It felt good in hand to me and wasn't too heavy.
- Skvala Gaming
User Reviews 3 Battery life was excellent as well thanks to the big 6580mAh capacity. I got almost 5 hours of video streaming and upwards of 6 hours web browsing in my usage. Fast charging is lacking though so full recharges take a bit.

Blackview has released its latest tablet – the Tab 12 Pro. This new 10.1-inch Android tablet aims to deliver a premium user experience and versatile functionality at a budget-friendly price point.

Design & Display

The Tab 12 Pro sports a sleek, modern metal unibody design with slim bezels around the vibrant 10.1-inch IPS display. The high screen-to-body ratio and lightweight build make the tablet easy and comfortable to grip in one hand. The bright high-definition display renders sharp details and vivid colors – ideal for multimedia consumption, gaming, or productivity work. Dual speakers pump out surprisingly loud and clear audio as well.

Performance & Battery Life

Inside, the Tab 12 Pro packs an octa-core UNISOC T606 processor and 8GB RAM which capably handles casual usage like web browsing, video streaming, and light gaming. More intensive apps and games may push the limits, however. Storage is generous at 128GB plus microSD expansion.

An ample 6580mAh battery delivers excellent runtimes – almost 5 hours of video streaming or 6 hours of web browsing based on hands-on testing. Fast charging is lacking though so full top-ups require some patience.

Versatile Productivity

The tablet ships with Android 12 and Blackview's customizable DokiOS 3.0 interface. A unique PC mode opens multiple app windows as on a laptop for efficient multi-tasking. It can even mirror phone notifications and apps for seamless integration. These features plus Bluetooth mouse/keyboard support boost productivity potential.

Cameras & Connectivity

You get fairly standard camera specs here – a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie cam. Photo quality is just average but gets the job done. For connectivity, the Tab 12 Pro includes Wi-Fi 5, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. LTE mobile data works in select regions.

Conclusion

The Blackview Tab 12 Pro punches above its weight given the visuals, versatile modes, and solid performance on offer. With its deep feature set catering to entertainment and productivity alike, it warrants consideration from student professionals to casual tablet users.
