Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews I found the Oscal Pad 15 has a good looking design with thin, uniform bezels and a solid build quality that doesn't flex. The stereo speakers sound loud but slightly hollow. Performance is quite smooth for general use like web browsing and videos, though some stuttering occurs in games.

User Reviews 2 I thought the Oscal Pad 15 has a slim and light design at just 7.6mm thick and 449g. It now has a slightly larger 10.36" display compared to past Oscal Pad models, but keeps the sharp 2K resolution. Performance seems improved with a higher AnTuTu benchmark score despite using the same Unisoc T606 chipset. The cameras have also been upgraded with a 16MP rear and 13MP front camera.
- Tech Brothers
User Reviews 3 In my experience, it has decent performance for casual use thanks to its Unisoc T606 chipset, though more demanding tasks like heavy multitasking or gaming push it to its limits. The IPS LCD screen is satisfactory for watching Netflix and other streaming video.

Blackview has unveiled its latest affordable Android tablet, the Oscal Pad 15. Released in September 2023, the device aims to deliver solid performance and features without breaking the bank.

The Oscal Pad 15 sports a 10.36-inch IPS LCD screen with 2K resolution for crisp image quality. Inside is an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor with 8GB of RAM, which handles most everyday tasks smoothly. Storage is a generous 256GB, and you can add more via the microSD card slot.

On the back sits a 13MP camera that takes decent photos and 1080p video. For video chatting, a 16MP front-facing camera gets the job done.

The tablet comes loaded with Android 13 and Blackview’s DokeOS 3.0 interface. Other highlights include stereo speakers, an 8280mAh battery lasting 8-9 hours per charge, and a sleek 7.6mm thick body weighing just 449 grams.

Reviewers found the Oscal Pad 15 provides really good value at its low cost. It works well for common uses like web browsing, streaming video from Netflix or Disney+, and operating social media apps. Light gaming also poses little issue for the capable Unisoc processor.

However, graphics-intensive games see some stuttering. And while the display offers nice sharpness, colors shift at wider viewing angles. Critics also noted mediocre sound from the speakers and lack of support for faster USB 3.0 speeds.

Compared to pricier Apple and Samsung tablets, Blackview’s slate falls short on performance and display quality. But reviewers said it holds up respectably well given its much lower cost.

For budget-conscious buyers not needing top-tier power, the Oscal Pad 15 presents an appealing option.

In conclusion, the Blackview Oscal Pad 15 brings upgrades like a bigger screen, improved cameras and battery, and Android 13 software. Reviewers called it an even better value tablet with impressive specs for the money.

Shoppers wanting capable functionality without spending a lot should give Blackview's latest slate strong consideration. For lighter demands, the Oscal Pad 15 gets the job done for far less than premium devices.
