The SIM card is most commonly associated with GSM and UMTS mobile networks. Moving a SIM card from one phone to another allows a subscriber to switch mobile phones without having to contact their mobile network carrier. SIM cards can also be used by a phone to store limited amounts of data, such as phone numbers and text messages. Micro-SIM

Battery

Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 2580 mAh Li-Ion
Battery Life 4 hours
Charging microUSB 2.0

Camera

Rear Camera Camera is able to capture photographs and usually videos, The most important characteristics of a camera are the resolution (measured in megapixels), lens focus type (fixed or automatic), higher megapixel cameras are known to capture higher quality photos, but not always a good measurement of the photos quality. 2 MP
Front Camera 0.3 MP
Video 720p@30fps
Flash Flash Light => There is commonly two types of flash lights are used in camera mobile phones, LED Flash (LED flash offers lower power consumption with drive circuitry that takes up very little room, LEDs can be strobed faster than any other light source), Xenon Flash (xenon flash produces an extremely intense full-spectrum white light for a very short duration) No

Connectivity

Bluetooth Bluetooth is a wireless communications technology for exchanging data between mobile phones, headsets, computers and other network devices over short distances without wires, Bluetooth technology was primarily designed to support simple wireless networking of personal consumer devices. 4.0
Wi-fi Wi-Fi is a popular wireless networking technology using radio waves to provide high-speed network connections that allows devices to communicate without cords or cables, Wi-Fi is increasingly becoming the preferred mode of internet connectivity all over the world. 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct

Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. No

Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews I was happy with it considering the low price point. I found the tablet to be lightweight and good for kids. The screen was durable Gorilla Glass. The battery life was decent at 4-5 hours of continuous use.
- Ashley MangayaLyfNworkVlogs
User Reviews 2 I found the all-plastic build to feel cheap, with no premium quality. The Pixi is designed as a budget tablet with 3G functionality to use like a large smartphone. Overall performance was just mediocre.

User Reviews 3 I found these to be decently specced budget tablets, especially with the optional 4G connectivity. The option to choose between WiFi-only and 4G models at different price points is also good.

Alcatel's latest foray into the budget tablet market is the Pixi, a lightweight 7-inch Android slate designed for kids and casual users.

The Pixi manages to pack a surprising amount of value into its plastic body.

Sporting a 1024 x 600 pixel TFT screen protected by durable Gorilla Glass, the Pixi delivers responsive touch and swipe performance.

The screen mirrors Alcatel's focus on function over form, with viewing angles and color reproduction taking a back seat to scratch resistance.

Powering the experience is a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor and 1GB of RAM, which provides enough horsepower for smooth web browsing and gaming.

The Pixi loads apps swiftly and handles casual games well, although graphics-intensive titles struggle at times.

On the storage front, 8GB of built-in memory is supplemented by microSD expansion up to 32GB.

For cameras, a basic 2MP rear shooter and 0.3MP front-facing camera handle photos and video calls passably.

Connectivity comes in the form of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS

The single micro USB port facilitates charging and data transfer. Battery life is reasonably strong at 4-5 hours of active use.

For software, the Pixi runs a stock version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The interface is easy to use, although some users have reported annoying popup notifications.

Guest user access allows for quick tablet sharing.

In daily use, the Pixi feels swift when web browsing and handling simple apps.

Games are playable thanks to adjustable graphics settings, but occasional hiccups point to the tablet's budget silicon.

The rear camera works for document scanning, while the front camera suffices for grainy video calls.

Audio from the single speaker is functional but uninspiring.

In conclusion, the Alcatel Pixi delivers solid performance and versatility given its low cost.

While the no-frills design and average camera leave room for improvement, the snappy interface and expandable storage add appeal.

For shoppers seeking an affordable Android tablet for kids or casual use, the Pixi packs a lot of bang for the buck.
