User Reviews 1 User Reviews The software is fairly vanilla Android with little bloatware, which I appreciate. Performance is mediocre - apps take a few seconds to load and there's some lag at times. The display is decent but the viewing angles could be better. The speakers deliver clear audio but aren't very loud. For gaming, Subway Surfers loaded slowly but then ran smoothly. The cameras capture good quality video and images.

User Reviews 2 The Joy Tab 2 exceeded my expectations. Compared to the lackluster original, this sequel model is much zippier with its upgraded 3GB RAM. It handles light gaming and multitasking reasonably smoothly. The quad-core processor and HD display deliver solid performance for social media, web browsing, and streaming video.
Connectivity is a key selling point. The LTE capability keeps you online anywhere, though I didn't test it out. Still, it's great for truckers or frequent travelers. The 4000mAh battery also promises ample runtime for entertainment on the go.

Overall the Joy Tab 2 punches above its weight for the cost. It handles social media, videos and light gaming just fine for budget shoppers.

Display and Design

Sporting an 8.00-inch IPS TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the tablet provides decent visuals, although viewing angles could be improved.

The design, while reminiscent of earlier models with a plastic build and thick bezels, aligns with its budget-friendly price tag. For those seeking an affordable secondary device, especially kids or media usage, the Joy Tab 2 stands out.

Connectivity and Battery Life

A key selling point is the tablet’s connectivity features. With LTE capability, users stay online anywhere, catering to the needs of travelers or those constantly on the move.

The 4000mAh battery ensures ample runtime for entertainment, making it an ideal companion for users on the go. Standby times of up to 25.4 days (4G) highlight its efficiency in conserving power.

Camera and Audio

Equipped with 5MP rear and front cameras, the Joy Tab 2 captures good quality video and images. While lacking a flash, the cameras perform adequately for the tablet’s intended use.
