Lenovo Yoga Tablet Coming

Looking for a Android tablet with a wacky design, or a tablet with a solid one-hand grip and built-in kickstand? Ever since Sony decided to end production of the only Android tablet with an original design with the Sony Xperia Tablet S, there have been none. But this fall Lenovo is taking a chance by coming out with 8-inch and 10-inch tablets that stand out from the crowd. If not in the specs, than at least in design.

Lenovo IdeaPad B6000 Yoga Tablet 8
The Lenovo IdeaPad B6000 is another quad-core, 8-inch, Android 4.2 tablet. The mains specs are:
– A 8-inch LED-backlight multi-touch screen with 1280×800 pixels resolution.
– It's powered by a 1.2GHz MT8125 quad-core processor from MediaTek.
– There's 1GB of RAM.
– 16GB of memory.
– A 5 Megapixel rear-camera and a HD front-camera.
– Most interesting thing second to the design, might be the 6000mAh battery, which Lenovo claims can last up to 16 hours.
The same tablet was spotted in a benchmark test in September.
The price in Euro is €242, or $249 in the US. Release starts on October 30.


Lenovo IdeaPad B8000 Yoga Tablet 10
The Lenovo IdeaPad B8000 is essentially the same tablet as the B6000, only it is 2.1-inches wider, at 10.1 inches.
Other than that the specs are nearly identical, save from the battery and price.
– A 10.1-inch LED-backlight multi-touch screen with 1280×800 pixels resolution.
– Powered by a 1.2GHz MT8125 quad-core processor from MediaTek.
– 1GB of RAM.
– 16GB of memory.
– A 5 Megapixel rear-camera and a HD front-camera.
– And a 9000mAh battery, which Lenovo claims can give it a battery-life as long as 18 hours!
The price in Euro is €313, or $299 in the US, with the same October 30 release date
