Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 Specs Listed By Retailer

A retailer that may have been a little naughty appear to have leaked the full specs for the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 before Huawei wants it to. Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 first leaked in April, after it had been Wi-Fi certified.

But now we seem to have all the specs for it. The Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 is listed as being an 8-inch Android 7.0 tablet with a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution display. Both the Wi-Fi and 4G LTE models are listed as being powered by a octa-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor.

Despite that, it also appears to have been benchmarked 3 times over the last few days and achieving only an average of 655 in single-core and 2810 in multi-core scores on Geekbench. So if that’s the firmware of the final version, those would be low single-core scores for a new Android tablet in Q2 2017.

RAM varies between the models, with 3GB and 4GB of RAM on the 32GB and 64GB storage models. Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 is an aluminum wrapped tablet, weighing 310 grams, and being 7.5mm thick.

The battery size is 4800 mAh, and Wi-Fi support is for dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, with Bluetooth 4.1, and micro-USB 2.0 for additional connectivity options.

In addition to stereo speakers, it has 8MP front and rear cameras, with Full HD video recording on the rear camera, and HD video recording support on the front camera. The tablet is also listed with LED flash on the rear, but I didn’t see any LED flash in the purported images, so we need to wait and see when Huawei finally announce it.

It could still be some time before this tablet is launched, so until then two solid 8-inch options with Android 7.0 includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and Nvidia Shield Tablet K1.
