Xiaomi 5G Tablet Rumored
What looks like the most dubious tablet rumor in a very long time, recently originated from a Weibo account where the user claimed to have some insights on an upcoming 5G tablet from Xiaomi.
This was posted together with a mix of dubious images, neither of which appears to be of a new tablet, but where the front image is using the same wallpaper as the now “old” Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, while the back image appears to simply be of a white Huawei MatePad Pro with a Xiaomi MI logo slapped on the back.
I'm sure there will be a 5G Xiaomi tablet in the future, but not with press renders such as these.
The interest in 5G tablet news spiked recently, after Samsung launched the world's first 5G tablet in South Korea on January 30 with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G.
