Chuwi HiPad XPro 10.5 Launching – Alternative To Samsung Galaxy Tab A8
Chuwi is launching a new mid-range tablet on AliExpress in January called Chuwi HiPad XPro, which is a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 in the same price range.
Chuwi HiPad XPro is also a 10.5-inch Android tablet featuring a 1920 x 1200 Full HD resolution display with 360 nits brightness. And it too has quad speakers at 1W.
But the main hardware is different as it's powered by the octa-core 2.0 GHz Unisoc T616 processor, with 6GB of DDR4 RAM, and 128GB of storage, with support for 1TB microSD cards.

Chuwi even added three cameras to this tablet. It has a 13MP man rear camera with another 0.3MP depth camera for things like bokeh effect. On the front there's an 8MP camera for video chats or a use as a mirror.
The battery size is acceptable at 7000 mAh/26.6Wh, and so is the connectivity options of dual-band Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.0, 4G, a USB C port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
Sensors includes GPS, light sensors, and g-sensors, and it has Widevine L1 support for videos.
The weight is 500 grams and the thickness is 7.3mm, so for a 10.5-inch Android tablet at about the same price as a Fire HD 10 tablet, it checks all boxes. The only thing that might be missing is a dedicated keyboard, but Chuwi has other tablets for that purpose, so that can't actually be considered a fault with the Chuwi HiPad XPro.
