BungBungame Kalos 2 – Android 6.0 AMOLED Tablet – Launch April 14
The top end Android 6.0 Super AMOLED tablet BungBungame Kalos 2 that was announced at Computex 2015 will finally be launched soon, starting in Japan on April 14, for a price that approximates $499, which is low considering the great specs.
Despite the BungBungame name, this is actually a serious company, though it's fair if people have never heard of this tablet brand outside of Asia yet. But that could change.
BungBungame Kalos 2 will be launched in Europe and USA later too, but BungBungame have not announced the Kalos 2 launch dates for these markets yet.

BungBungame Kalos 2 is a 10.5-inch Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow tablet with a Super AMOLED panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution display. Powering this beast is the 2.1 GHz Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor. And keeping in line with that level of standard is 3GB of DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz!). The eMMC storage is 64GB, with full 200GB microSD card support.
And the rest of the specs are good to, with no real exceptions.
It has MIMO 2×2 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover, Bluetooth 4.1, g-sensor, gyro, e-compass, ALS, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, IR-sensor, and it has a USB Type-C port.
For cameras, Kalos 2 has a 5MP front camera, and 8MP rear camera. It has a battery life of 9 hours and a capacity of 5800 mAh.
The dimensions are good too, with a thickness of just 6.4 mm and a weight of only 430 grams.
So what we have here is the third lightest 10-inch Android tablet after the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, and the Kalos 2 similar Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet that only weighs 389 grams.
It also offers an upgrade opportunity for those who loved the slightly underpowered Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with 2560 x 1600 resolution and Super AMOLED but who complained when it was replaced by the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, with 2048 x 1536 resolution.
And considering the many Samsung components on the inside of the BungBungame Kalos 2 tablet, it may just as well be thought of as Samsung tablet.
