Possible Xiaomi MiPad 2 Tablet Unveiling On March 31?
It now looks like a “Xiaomi MiPad 2” could happen after Xiaomi announced on their Weibo account that “a tablet will make an appearance” at their 5 year anniversary event on March 31.
Specs and images doesn't really appear to have been leaked anywhere other than the old rumors from October, when a 9.2-inch Xiaomi tablet was benchmarked, or the VR-Zone rumor about an upcoming Intel Atom powered Xiaomi tablet back in December. Since then we've heard nothing.
But with only 5 days left to Xiaomi's 5 year old birthday party, we'll see if Google's former darling Hugo Barra and the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun have something up their sleeve.

The Xiamoi MiPad is a hugely popular 7.9-inch Android tablet with a 2048 x 1536 resolution display that was launched in May last year, with release in July. It was the first tablet that was powered by the Nvidia Tegra K1 processor.
Possible specifications are high in every area, it is made well, and with Xiaomi owning it's own ecosystem, it is naturally selling very well in Asia. The Xiaomi MiPad is currently on sale for $265.
