Vivo Pad Air Announced – An 11.5-Inch Tablet With Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Processor

The chairman of Vivo made a partial but at least official announcement of the Vivo Pad Air earlier today.

It's was an unusual announcement, which actually started with a brief history of the concept of tablets computers from old movies and science fiction, mixed with his own preferences of arts and science.

But this eventually led to the explanation of the inspiration behind the Vivo Pad Air too, as well as a partial introduction to the specs.

Vivo Pad Air specifications that were shared today were that it has an 11.5-inch screen with a 2.8K resolution, with a 144 H refresh rate, a wide color gamut, and digitizer pen support for the Vivo Pencil 2.

It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, has a 8500 mAh battery with 44W fast charge support, quad speakers that are supposed to have some boost to them, and it ships with the OriginOS 3 user interface for Android 13.

We can also see that it has silver, blue, and pink color options, and Vivo Pad Air is 6.67mm thick and weighs 530 grams.

That's not a bad weight, but then again, other tablets of this size, such as the Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd gen) weighs 520 grams, and the 11.6-inch OnePlus Pad weighs 552 grams.

Meanwhile, Apple who started the Air moniker for tablets, has the iPad Air weighing in at 461 grams, but then again, that is a smaller 10.9-inch tablet too.
