The full range of OnePlus Pad accessories are a Folio Case, the Wireless Magnetic Stylus Pen, and the Magnetic Keyboard.

OnePlus Pad is an Android 13 tablet with the OxygenOS 13.1 UI, that’s powered by the hot new Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset, with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and even UFS 3.1 storage with a capacity from 128GB to 256GB.

The 11.61-inch screen has a 7:5 screen ratio which OnePlus has labelled ReadFit due to its emphasis on optimizing the reading experience with this ratio.

Other display attributes includes a 2800 x 2000 resolution display (giving it a 296 ppi), 500 nits max brightness, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision.

The Halo Green tablet also features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, an 8MP front camera with facial unlocking and a 13MP rear camera with LED, Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.3, a 9150 mAh battery capacity with a 14.5 hour battery life and 67W Supervooc fast charging support, and a USB C port.

There’s also proper pogo pin connectors for the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard, and support for the 4096 pressure level sensitive OnePlus Stylo digitizer pen.

The OnePlus Pad is very portable too, with a thickness of just 6.54mm and a weight of 552 grams, and the screen also has 2.5D curved glass.

Pricing and availability will be announced at in a couple of weeks says OnePlus. Either way, a good set of specifications for a tablet debut, and the aspect ratio will for sure be welcomed by a lot of people.

Most tablet brands have transitioned over from the former widescreen ratio over to a more reader friendly aspect ratio over the years too, so this choice of screen ratio is in line with current trends.
