Two New Surface 4 Tablets Touted For October Launch
Minor leaks about a possible new Surface Pro 4 have circulated for months, but now things are really getting interesting.
(UPDATED: There's a Microsoft Windows 10 Device Event On October 6 In New York.)
Digitimes is once again quoting sources in the supply chain for tablet manufacturers who are now claiming that Microsoft is developing not just one, but two new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablets or 2-in-1's for launch later in 2015.
The supply chain sources could so far only provide information on the display size, which is interesting enough, and apparently the Surface Pro 4 is a 12-inch Windows 10 Pro tablet while the other Surface 4 is a 13-inch to 14-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet. Both devices are also said to feature high-end hardware specifications, which would be in line with what the Surface Pro 3 has now too, so that's definitely believable.
New Surface Pro 4 devices are expected to launch alongside the two upcoming Microsoft Windows 10 Phones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, possibly on October 6.
