Toshiba Excite Go Added To 7-Inch Android Budget Category
Toshiba came out with yet another budget tablet today, with the announcement of the Toshiba Excite Go, that will be launched in July for $109.
Toshiba already have the $99-119 range budget tablet Toshiba Excite, so what they've added to the Excite Go is a new processor and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Otherwise we are looking at the same 1024×600 (!) 7-inch tablet with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735F processor and 1GB of RAM. Storage options are 8GB and 16GB with claimed 128GB microSD support, although you could face the Google-imposed storage limitation that have become an issue on plenty of other Android tablets these days.

Battery life is a low 6 to 7 1/2 hours, which gives you an idea where Toshiba cut corners. It otherwise has microUSB 2.0 and comes with Office Suite Pro which might be over the top if this is a tablet for kids. But hey, anything to keep the kids occupied in the backseat, whether it's watching movies or creating spreadsheets.
Release is expected in July with an immediate $10 sale trick, so that it could effectively launch for $99.
