Lenovo will release both of the new Smart Tab tablets with the Smart Dock included, starting on January 25. So in practice this means that Lenovo will be offering 4 levels of specs in the Lenovo Smart Tab series. 2GB RAM/16GB storage for $199, or 3GB RAM/32GB storage for $249 for the Lenovo Smart Tab M10, and then 3GB RAM/32GB storage for $299, or 4GB RAM/64GB storage for $349 for the Lenovo Smart Tab P10 top model which also includes higher specs overall, with a January 31 release date:
Both models of Lenovo Tab P10 are sold with the Smart Dock included, which offers long range mics for Amazon Alexa, 2x 3 watt speakers, and a charging stand.
Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is a sleek looking tablet with glass both on the front and the back, featuring a good 10.1-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 400 nits brightness that is sharp and color accurate, with computing power from a octa-core 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, with the aforementioned storage and RAM options, including microSD card expansion up to 256GB.
Lenovo Tab P10 is a quad-speaker tablet with these 4 speakers being front facing speakers with Dolby Atmos. It has dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover, a 7000 mAh battery with a 15 hour battery life based on 720p video playback, it has a 5MP front camera, a 8MP rear camera, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a fingerprint reader.
The Android 8.0 Oreo tablet is very thin too, at just 7mm in thickness. What’s interesting is that even though Lenovo haven’t made a big deal out of it, with a weight of just 440 grams, the Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is in fact the lightest tablet in the world in 10.1-inch category of Android tablets as of 2019.
