Sony Tablet SGP621 Spotted In List
Sony seems to have a new tablet in the works, that is understood. But as of yet we only know it by the model name SGP621 which doesn't give us much to go by.
At the moment, Sony only have the Android tablet Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, which is one of the best Android tablets of 2014, and the 11.6-inch Windows tablet Sony Vaio Tap 11 on the market.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet was released in March however and has some of the best tablet specs out there, with a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a beautiful waterproof 1920 x 1200 display.
So the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet isn't really ripe for upgrade yet, since it's only the resolution that could be higher to match one of Samsung's top models.
So is the Sony SGP621 a Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet that replace the Z2, or is it a smaller and cheaper model?
Whatever it is, chances are it will be a very good and somewhat innovative tablet judging by Sony's past. And a wider range of Sony tablets would be most welcome.
