Several New Huawei MediaPad And MateBook Devices Leaked Before MWC 2018
The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is coming up for a few days soon between the end of February and beginning of March.
And ahead of MWC 2018, we've notced a recent uptick in leaks on Huawei tablets and computers. What we've covered the most so far has been the Android 8.0 tablet Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4, but a new Windows 10 MateBook has also been through the same officia certification hoops, including FCC. So this device is due for launch sometime in the future too.
(UPDATED: Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4 announced)
But now Roland Quandt who is one of the most accurate computer journalists particularly on Huawei devices have revealed that two 10-inch Android 8.0 tablets in Huawei's MediaPad line is also being added to the 2018 model year soon.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 "Schubert" (SHT-xxx), 4/32GB ~329 Euro (~380 w/ LTE)
Huawei MediaPad M5 10 "Cameron" (CMR-xxx), 4/32GB, ~379 Euro (~420 w/ LTE)
Huawei MediaPad M5 10 Pro "Cameron Pro", 4/64GB, supports M-Pen stylus and comes only with LTE, ~520 Euro

These are called Huawei Mediapad M5 10 and Huawei Mediapad M5 10 Pro, where the base model will have 4GB of RAM and optional 4G LTE, while the Huawei Mediapad M5 10 Pro will have 4GB of RAM, more storage, a digitizer, and built in 4G LTE.
These are only the first tablets from Huawei in 2018, and Huawei will probably continue to breath down Samsung's neck by widening their tablet protfolio of new tablets later on in 2018. We'll still have to wait and see if Huawei will announce any tablets at MWC 2018, and tha latest MateBooks were released in the US in July last year, so they are not overly old yet.
