Samsung rolls out Android 14 update for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) in Europe
Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14 update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) model in Europe. The new firmware arrives as version P613XXU4CWL1 and brings the One UI 6.0 interface to the budget tablet.

The update is currently hitting units in France but should expand to other European countries soon.
It packs plenty of visual refreshments and feature additions, including an overhauled Quick Settings panel, new widgets, updated stock apps, better multitasking capabilities, and the Samsung Privacy Hub.
However, Samsung has not bundled the latest January 2024 security patch with this release.
The firmware retains the previous November 2023 patch instead, likely due to development time constraints. We can expect the tablet to get the January patch through a minor update in the coming weeks.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) first launched in early 2022 with Android 12 onboard. It received its first major update to Android 13 later that year. Now with Android 14, the tablet continues to get timely OS updates despite its budget status.
Samsung's commitment to long-term software support for even its affordable devices is laudable. With guaranteed updates through at least Android 15, excellent hardware, and a reasonable price, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) remains an enticing buy even two years after its launch.
For users already owning the tablet, the Android 14 update brings a host of new features and a fresh look.
The refined One UI 6.0 interface improves the overall user experience and keeps the Tab S6 Lite competitive against newer devices.
Samsung has done an excellent job keeping the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) updated. The Android 14 rollout demonstrates the company's improved focus on software support.
Existing owners can look forward to an improved tablet, while new buyers get a future-proof purchase.
