Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Benchmarked For The First Time Today

After we broke the news of Samsung's new model number series for tablets last week, starting with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, it was only a matter of time before we could find more details for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series too.

Now Sammobile have noted that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ was also benchmarked for the first time today.

In fact, when looking it over, I noticed that it's been benchmarked over 40 times already today, and it all seems to be the 5G version SM-X808U which is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor that the most reliable leaker had said it would.

In the Geekbench 5 benchmarks today, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ repeatedly clocked in scores of over 1200 in single-core and over 3200 in multi-core scores.

Not quite the 1580 / 4200 iPad Air performance yet, but it's getting closer.

As Samsung's Tab S8+ was running at 1.79 GHz to 3.0 GHz in the first benchmarks today, the final performance could still settle at a different level in the end, so we should still wait closer to the launch next year to know for sure how it will score.
