Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Rugged Tablet Leaked Through New FCC Listings
Samsung appears to be working on the successor to last year's Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro rugged tablet, based on recent filings with the FCC. Two model numbers, SM-X306B and SM-X300, were certified that seem to represent Wi-Fi and 5G variants of a new Galaxy Tab Active 5.

While imagery in the filings doesn't provide a completely clear view, the tablet shown sports a slate gray or black color scheme.
More importantly, the documents reveal key specs planned for the Galaxy Tab Active 5, including 128GB of internal storage, microSD expansion up to 64GB, S Pen support, and a 15W charger.
A 10.000 mAh battery had previously been certified for the tablet as well. Combined with the S Pen and ruggedized design typified by the Active series, this points to a tablet meant for enterprise and industrial applications where the durability, battery life, and precision input of an S Pen would provide significant utility.
Other rumored specs via benchmark leaks include 6GB of RAM and Android 14 software, but details remain scarce regarding the Galaxy Tab Active 5's screen size, processors, cameras, and exact dimensions or weight.
Additional leaks of theĀ Galaxy Tab Active 5 are likely in the coming weeks and months as Samsung prepares the rugged Galaxy tab active 5 for launch. For now, businesses and frontline workers interested in Samsung's line of rugged devices can look forward to a beefy, S Pen-equipped upgrade to the Active series in 2023.
