What you get bundled in from Barnes & Noble are the same kind of apps and software that you get on all media consumption tablets, with recommendations and suggestions from B&N that matches the content you are already consuming, ranging from books to videos. These features were introduced on the NOOK HD back in September 2012. In addition it has a range of apps suited to the content you are viewing, so that each media experience is optimized as much as possible.

But you also get $200 worth of free content and an additional $5 starter credit with the purchase of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK. From before, the tablet itself has dual windows multitasking features, a 7-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, Android 4.4, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB RAM, a 1.3MP front camera and a 3MP rear camera, GPS and GLONASS, a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a 10 hour battery life, all in a light 276 gram tablet.
Since the price for a regular Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also $179 at the moment, it makes sense to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK instead and get some free content goodies thrown in on the bargain.
