Huawei has launched an updated version of its MatePad Pro 11 tablet for 2024. The new model comes with groundbreaking built-in two-way satellite communication abilities.

Slim Tablet Retains Premium Design

The 2024 MatePad Pro 11 retains the slim metal body at just 5.9 mm thick. It weighs only 449 grams, making it easy to carry around. Huawei says it is the thinnest 11-inch tablet available.

The tablet comes in four colors: Black, Blue, White and Green.

Vivid Display Now Runs at 120Hz

The 2024 MatePad Pro 11 sports an 11-inch OLED screen with vivid colors.

The display resolution is a sharp 2560 x 1600 pixels.

Huawei upgraded the screen’s refresh rate to 120Hz, allowing smoother scrolling and animations compared to last year's model.

Revolutionary Satellite Connectivity

What makes the new MatePad Pro 11 stand out is its ability to connect to China’s BeiDou navigation satellite network when Wi-Fi or cellular signals are weak or unavailable.

It is the first tablet globally that can do this.

Powerful Internals Drive Strong Performance

Inside, the tablet uses the Kirin 9000S chipset already offered in Huawei’s premium phones. This 7nm processor delivers fast speeds for smooth app and multi-tasking performance.

The MatePad Pro 11 packs up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Despite the thin chassis, Huawei fits in a large 8,300 mAh battery. This powers over a day of mixed use on one charge.

Refilling the battery is swift with support for 66W fast charging. Wireless and reverse wireless charging are also offered.

The new MatePad Pro 11 keeps the photography specs mostly unchanged from last year.

There is a 13MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens.
