Blackview Tab 12 tablet has a modern design with thick bezels and an aluminum back. The corners feel sharp when holding though. It's made for landscape orientation with buttons and ports distributed to facilitate that. The tablet runs Android 11 so the software is dated. The interface looks clean but there is bloatware that can mostly be uninstalled. The Unisoc chipset keeps costs down but means performance takes a hit, especially for gaming which stutters quite a bit. - Geeky Stuff |

Unboxing the Tab 12, I found the tablet itself along with a 10W charger, USB cable, documentation, and SIM ejector tool inside. I really like that it comes with a free, good quality cover unlike other budget tablets. The aluminum body also provides a nice premium feel. We tested the cameras, with the front being 5MP and rear 13MP. For hardware, the Tab 12 offers a bright 10.1-inch IPS display that should deliver an excellent viewing experience. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which seems decent to me at this price. Battery capacity stands at a sizable 6580mAh. I found the tablet itself along with a charger, USB-C cable, SIM ejector pin, and documentation inside. The thin, nice-looking design doesn't feel cheap. I really appreciate that it has a SIM card slot and a dedicated microSD card slot. Those features are great to have on a budget tablet. Booting up, it runs Android 11. The IPS screen provides a perfectly fine full HD display. Testing out gaming performance, games like Asphalt ran smoothly with no issues or lag.
