Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews I checked out the Asus MeMO 370T tablet at Asus's booth at CES 2012. Since it was only a mock-up, I could not actually demo the tablet, but I did get to see what the final production model will look like. The tablet features a 7-inch IPS display touted as being fingerprint resistant. The display is supposed to have a 178-degree wide viewing angle. The tablet itself appears very thin and light, though that could change once actual internal components are added.

User Reviews 2 I tried out the 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 and found the performance to be quite responsive overall. In my experience, the IPS display seemed sharp but likely not full HD at this size. The plastic textured back felt nice to hold and Asus included some handy ports like microHDMI. I was not able to fully test the camera or audio performance on this early unit. While few customizations or apps came preloaded, the tablet appeared promising for gaming and HD video based on its Nvidia Tegra chipset and 1GB RAM.

Asus has unveiled a sneak peek of the eagerly anticipated Asus MeMO 370T tablet during CES 2012, and our first impressions are nothing short of promising. The 7-inch tablet, running on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, caught our eye with its sleek design and enticing features.

Showcases Sharp IPS Display

The 370T wows with its 7-inch IPS screen touted for wide 178-degree viewing angles. Asus claims the display resists fingerprints while delivering vivid 16 million colors. The screen's 1024×600 resolution renders a sharp enough 167 pixels per inch.

Runs Smoothly on Tegra 3 Chipset

An NVIDIA Tegra 3 mobile processor powers buttery navigation. Its quad-core CPU clocks speeds up to 1.3GHz for snappy performance. The chip's integrated 3D graphics also promise fluid gameplay.

Shoot Photos and Video in High Quality

An 8-megapixel rear camera adorns the tablet's backside, equipped with handy auto-focus. It can record full HD 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Just don't expect a front-facing lens or flash.

Offers Good Connectivity and Storage

Despite its slim form, the 370T manages to fit a Micro SD slot supporting up to 32GB more storage. It also provides a mini HDMI port for video out and a micro USB 2.0 port for syncing and charging. And it comes GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
