Operating System controls all basic operations of the computer (such as smartphone, PDAs, tablet computers and other handheld devices). The Operating System allows the user to install and run third party applications (apps), apps are used to add new functionality to the device. Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
SIM SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small card that contains mobile network subscriber's account information. This allows the phone using the card to attach to a mobile network. The SIM card is most commonly associated with GSM and UMTS mobile networks. Moving a SIM card from one phone to another allows a subscriber to switch mobile phones without having to contact their mobile network carrier. SIM cards can also be used by a phone to store limited amounts of data, such as phone numbers and text messages. Dual SIM (Micro-SIM/Nano-SIM)

Battery

Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 3400 mAh
Battery Life 9 Hours
Charging No

Camera

Rear Camera Camera is able to capture photographs and usually videos, The most important characteristics of a camera are the resolution (measured in megapixels), lens focus type (fixed or automatic), higher megapixel cameras are known to capture higher quality photos, but not always a good measurement of the photos quality. 13 MP
Front Camera 2 MP
Image 4128 x 3096 Pixels
Video 1080p@30fps
Camera Features HDR, panorama
Flash Flash Light => There is commonly two types of flash lights are used in camera mobile phones, LED Flash (LED flash offers lower power consumption with drive circuitry that takes up very little room, LEDs can be strobed faster than any other light source), Xenon Flash (xenon flash produces an extremely intense full-spectrum white light for a very short duration) No

Connectivity

Bluetooth Bluetooth is a wireless communications technology for exchanging data between mobile phones, headsets, computers and other network devices over short distances without wires, Bluetooth technology was primarily designed to support simple wireless networking of personal consumer devices. 4.0, A2DP
Wi-fi Wi-Fi is a popular wireless networking technology using radio waves to provide high-speed network connections that allows devices to communicate without cords or cables, Wi-Fi is increasingly becoming the preferred mode of internet connectivity all over the world. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct
USB microUSB 2.0

GPS, Glonass
NFC NFC (Near field communication) is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish peer-to-peer radio communications with each other by touching them together or bringing them into proximity, usually no more than a few inches.
Wireless Charging Wireless Charging (Inductive Charging) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. No

Acer has released the Iconia Talk S, a new 7-inch Android tablet with dual SIM capability.

One SIM can make voice calls while the other provides 4G LTE data, allowing users affordable phone and internet access.

The Talk S runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a quad-core 1.3GHz Mediatek processor with 2GB RAM.

It has a 7-inch IPS LCD screen with HD 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

The tablet feels slim at 9.4mm thickness and weighs a light 260 grams. Narrow bezels surround the screen for a slick look.

Good Value with Smooth Performance

The Talk S offers good specifications. The quad-core CPU and HD screen provide smooth Android performance for everyday use.

The pure Android interface with no added custom skins also helps speed.

Overall responsiveness is fast when launching apps, web browsing, streaming video or doing other tasks.

Dual SIM Versatility

The key feature is the dual micro SIM capability. Users can insert one talk-time SIM for making calls over GSM networks.

A separate data-only SIM gets up to 150Mbps 4G LTE speeds for internet connectivity.

This lets you easily separate phone and data plans to control costs.

Decent Hardware Given the Low Price

Considering the budget price, the Talk S delivers fair hardware.

The quad-core Mediatek MT8735 processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage with microSD expansion provide good performance for the price.

The 7-inch 1280 x 720 IPS screen is bright and vibrant.

Light Yet Sturdy Build Quality

The tablet feels lightweight at 260 grams. Acer built it 9.4mm thin for easy one-handed use.

The plastic rear case resists fingerprints while providing a solid feel that should withstand daily use.

Very Affordable Price Point

The Iconia Talk S launches around $200 USD, making it one of the most affordable 7-inch tablets available.

The low price with dual SIMs gives consumers more options to stay connected on the go without breaking the bank.

Unclear Battery Life the Only Drawback

Acer does not provide expected battery life for the Talk S. This raises questions on how long it can run per charge.

But the Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery capacity seems adequate given the efficient quad-core processor.

An Affordable Dual SIM Tablet with Promise

In conclusion, the Acer Iconia Talk S offers consumers a low-cost tablet with dual SIM capability for versatile connectivity.

It delivers smooth Android performance that matches other tablets costing twice as much.

Shoppers wanting an affordable secondary device for web access and calls should give the Talk S strong consideration.
