Oppo Pad 2 Presented Today – Hot New 11.6-Inch Android Tablet w/ Keyboard And Pen
So Oppo finally did a full unveiling of the Oppo Pad 2 today, and this tablet will start launching in China three days from now.
The Oppo Pad 2 is a well equipped tablet in the higher end segment of Android tablets. It has an 11.61-inch LCD screen sporting a resolution of 2800 x 2000 which gives it that 7:5 aspect ratio, along with a 144Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and 96% NTSC.
It runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 UI on top, both of which will get updated when new versions becomes avilable.
Power comes from the powerful 3.05 GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset with a ARM G710 MC10 GPU, with options of 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB / 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
So with power like that, you can kind of expect good specs in other areas too. And it doesn't disappoint. Oppo Pad 2 also features Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.3, USB C (though 2.0), facial unlocking, an 8MP front camera, a 13MP rear camera with LED, a 9510 mAh battery pack with a 14 1/2 hour battery life and 67W, 6.1A Supervooc charging, and of course quad speakers.
It's also loaded with the tablet sensors geomagnetic, light, acceleration, gravity, gyroscope, color temperature, and hall sensor.
Oppo Pad 2 is also in the category for the slimmest tablets on the market, with a thickness of just 6.54mm, and a weight of 552 grams. The color options available during the release are gray and a light champagne gold.
Optional accessories for the Oppo Pad 2 includes a Apple Magic style of folio keyboard, and a 4096 pressure level sensitive Oppo Pencil with a very quick 2ms lag time.
If the specs gives you a Déjà vu, then you are correct. The specs of the Oppo Pad 2 are in fact similar to those of the OnePlus Pad, since both companies are owned by the same parent company. Though this is the first time they've done something like this. We'll see how people feel about that in the end.
But the UI are still a little different between them though.
The launch price of the Oppo Pad 2 is 2999 Yuan, or around 435 USD. So those are good specs for the price.
