Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) Unveiled – 11.2-Inch OLED Tablet

Lenovo have used the IFA event in Berlin to announce the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) for the Western markets too, where Lenovo estimates a possible launch later in September, starting from $499.

This tablet had already been announced in China as the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. This is a 11.2-inch Android 12 tablet with free upgrades to both Android 13 and 14 when that time comes.

And the screen has an OLED display with a high resolution of 2560 x 1536, as well as 600 nits brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate, support for the 4096 pressure sensitive Lenovo Precision Pen 3, and optional keyboard cover.

It's powered by a much more powerful MediaTek Kompanio 1300T chipset than the predecessor, now featuring the 2.6 GHz octa-core MT8797Z processor, with options of 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

So this is a nice option to consider vs Samsung's tablets. But the list of good specs doesn't stop there. It also has Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.1, quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, an 8200 mAh battery with a 14 hour battery life, 30W charging, an 8MP front camera with facial unlocking, and a 13MP rear camera with LED.

A weight of 480 grams is good for a tablet this size, and the same goes for the 6.8mm thickness.
