One of the main aspects of this tablet is still the 7th gen. It has 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. It has a 1MP front camera with IR for unlocking it in Windows Hello, a 5MP rear camera, dual array mics, Dolby stereo speakers, complete 2×2 Wi-Fi cover, Bluetooth 4.1, and is said to run Windows 10 Home and not Pro.
Miix 720 also has 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 port with Thunderbolt, a USB 2.0, port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has an 8 hour battery life, a weight of 780 grams for the tablet and 1.1 kg with the keyboard, while the tablet is 8.9 mm thick.
It has a built-in kickstand with watchband hinges, support for 2048 levels of pressure sensitive digitizer pen, and a backlit keyboard.
The Miix 720 should not be confused with the generally similar Lenovo Miix 710 which is also powered by Kaby Lake processors, but sports a display resolution of 2160 x 1440 instead.
