A tweet from tech leaker and Huawei follower Teme suggests that we are looking at a possible leak for the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 5G.
Huawei had already announced that they would launch a 5G version of the Huawei MatePad Pro this year when they unveiled the 10.8-inch Huawei MatePad Pro on November 25th. But now Teme claims that Huawei will launch the MatePad Pro in two Apple iPad Pro rivaling sizes.
Featuring 3D facial recognition, 120Hz displays, higher resolution multiple rear cameras, air gesture support, a M-Pencil digitizer with reduced 10ms response time, and a Kirin 990 5G chipset, the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G 10.8 will have options of 256GB and 512GB storage, while the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G 12.8 will launch with options of 512GB or 1TB storage.
The launch price for the cheapest Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 5G is mentioned as 5399 Yuan, or about $779.
The timetable for the launch of Huawei’s 5G tablets seems to be unknown so far. Meanwhile, Samsung is already advertising the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G as the world’s first 5G tablet.
