HP Spectre x2 Launches

HP's latest 12-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet HP Spectre x2 have launched on several of HP's national websites, and is taking orders in HP Store where it can be configured before checkout.

HP Spectre x2 was announced on October 7. This is the HP tablet with a built-in kickstand that Tabletmonkeys discovered in September, before it was unveiled.

There are three main configurations to start with, and that's with the choice of Intel Core m3, m5, or m7 processor. The cheapest Intel Core m3 model with 1920 x 1280 resolution starts at $799, which is $100 more than that of the $699 Intel Core i3 Surface Pro 3 with 2160 x 1440 resolution.

Or it's $100 less than the new Surface Pro 4 with similar Intel Core m3 processor, but 2763 x 1824 resolution and Surface Pen included instead.

It's possible to customize the HP Spectre x2 with either Windows 10 Home or Pro, while the Intel Core m5 and m7 models also have 8GB of RAM, optional 256GB or 512GB SSD hard drive, and Verizon 4G LTE included. You can also get a 2MP camera with Intel RealSense on this Windows 10 tablet. So with specs like that, I'm sure it can be a Surface option for some.
