HP's latest Windows 8.1 tablet is available exclusively from Microsoft Store with a pre-order price of $399:

That's a very good price considering what you're getting. To begin with, a 1920 x 1200 resolution on the 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass 3 display. In price, only the 1920 x 1080 Microsoft Surface 2 with Windows 8.1 RT comes close at $449 if you want good resolution on a Windows tablet. Or there's the $499 Nokia Lumia 2520 4G LTE, but the Lumia and Surface are both Windows RT 8.1 tablets. Omni 10 runs the full blown Windows 8.1.
The quad-core processor powering HP Omni 10 is from Intel's very popular Bay Trail series, a 1.46GHz Intel Atom Z3770 processor whose chipset works with 2 GB of DDR3L RAM.
$399 is the price for the 32GB model of Omni 10. And unlike the iPad's, there is a microSD slot so you can expand the memory and carry lots of files very cheaply. 64GB and 128GB models will become available later.
HP Omni 10 has a solid 2MP front camera, and a whopping 8MP rear camera. Maybe not whopping for a smartphone, but on a tablet, that's definitely on the high end. HP have also given the stereo speakers HD Premium Sound technology.
As for ports, it has micro-USB 2.0, micro-HDMI, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack and DC-in-jack. The Wi-Fi is running on all four 802.11 a/b/g/n, in addition to Bluetooth for tethering and such.
On the software side it should be mentioned that it comes with Microsoft Windows Office 2013 (the full version, not trial) and that it has app multitasking abilities.
The battery life is set to 8 1/2 hours, coming from a 31 WHr battery pack, while the weight on HP Omni 10 is 1.40 lbs or 630 grams. 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablets range from 540 grams to 962 grams. By comparison, the Surface 2 weighs 675 grams. So for a tablet with this high resolution, the HP Omni 10 is actually the lightest tablet.
And for HP Omni 10 accessories, there's an optional dock/stand, and a Bluetooth keyboard as seen in the picture below.
