HP 7 G2 (1311 ) Taking Orders
HP's latest budget tablet, the HP 7 G2 is taking orders ahead of an undisclosed October release date, for a price of $99: http://www.amazon.com/HP-J4Y28AA-ABA-7-Inch-Tablet
The 7-inch Android tablet category is filled with cheap tablets, with the two most popular ones being the Acer Iconia One 7 and Asus MeMO Pad 7, both costing $99.
So HP has some serious competition, and yet they launch the HP 7 G2 tablet with a 5.5 hour battery life. I don't get it.
Specs are in brief a 1.2 GHz quad-core AllWinner processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, Android 4.4, 1280 x 720 resolution, 8GB storage, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 0.3MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera.
But considering the many alternatives here, I don't see why anyone would buy this tablet other than for the alternative screen ratio.
