Fujitsu Tablet Stylistic Q616 Announced
Fujitsu announced a new 2-in-1 tablet in Japan yesterday, called Fujitsu Tablet Stylistic Q616, and it replaces the Fujitsu Stylistic Q665.
Fujitsu Tablet Stylistic Q616 is primarily an enterprise tablet, so it won't be seen in your regular computer store. It is an 11.6-inch Windows 10 Pro 2-in-1 tablet with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, fanless 6th gen. Intel Core m3, m5, and m7 processor options, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, and SSD storage in options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, all models with Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU.
It has an over 10 hour battery life, optional 4G, complete Wi-Fi cover, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, micro-HDMI port, dual mics, stereo speakers, Kensington Lock support, and a weight of 753 grams.
As an enterprise tablet it also has support for LAN through a cradle or optional LAN adapter (Intel I219LM). The latter sounds over the top though, since regular Ethernet-to-USB adapters costs around $10 nowadays.
Security options include embedded fingerprint sensor, SmartCard reader, NFC SmartCard, TPM, Intel vPro technology, and encrypted drives.
In addition to optional docking, the new Fujitsu tablet has a range of other options, from shoulder strap to a small external Bluetooth speaker with built-in microphone.
The new tablet will be launched in the middle of May, starting in Japan.
