Is December a good month to buy tablet computers? Well it is now, as there’s several tablet brands with various tablets on sale in the run up to Christmas, even on recently launched tablets.
So here’s a breakdown of the tablets that are on sale, which are worth buying and are also the current model, and neither some predecessor or a refurbished model.
Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) on sale for $165.
This is a 10.6-inch alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, with specs that are better in some areas.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) on sale for $355.
A larger 11.2-inch Android tablet with high specs, and even a 2560 x 1536 resolution OLED display.
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 on sale for $320.
A 11-inch Chrome tablet with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB RAM, keyboard, and stylus pen.
Microsoft Store has sales on both the Surface Pro 9 with $100 to $200 off, the Surface Pro 8 with up to $400 off (starting at $799), and the upgraded Surface Pro 7+ model with a keyboard bundle, starting from $699. Microsoft also has Xbox stuff on sale, which may may be even better suited for the coming holidays.
Samsung started a December sales event today on December 8, that’s called Discover Samsung Event, which will last through December 15, with select offers on their Galaxy tablets, convertibles, and accessories, which sometimes carries with them bonus points too that can be used for other Samsung stuff later on.
All of Amazon’s own Fire tablets are on sale with the lowest prices they reach, apart from the Fire HD 10, which although very cheap at $89, still costs $10 more now than during most other sales. The Kids (age 3-7) and Kids Pro (ages 6-12) are also on sale, which makes for a nice last minute gift. The Fire tablets with gaming bundles are also on sale.
Apple’s iPads all enjoy a tiny discount too, but it’s better than paying full price, and every iPad is a good tablet.
Samsung’s 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab A8, the 8.7-inch Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, the 10.4-inch 2022 version of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with Pen, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ flagship tablet are all on sale too in December, and these are all very enjoyable tablets in their respective category.
An often overlook tablet is the 11-inch Windows 11 tablet Alldocube iWork GT with an Intel Core i3 processor. With a record low price of $399, it’s worth looking into at least if you want a powerful Windows tablet with the most bang for the bucks.
