Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 Opens For Pre-Orders With $50 Credit – Delivery By March 1
The new 2021 model Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 in Fiesta Red or Mercury Grey has started accepting pre-orders directly from Samsung, for $549 with the Intel Celeron 5250U processor, or $699 with the Intel Core i3-10110U processor:

It seems that pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 comes with some benefits though, as those customers will be treated to a $50 credit from Samsung. So that helps.
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 specs are split between 64GB storage and 4GB RAM on the cheapest model, and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM on the top model. Both feature the same great 13.3-inch AMOLED screen with a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160. So that screen will be future proof for a while.
These Chromebooks also comes with some additional goodies that other laptops or notebooks in this price range often lack, such as an integrated digitizer pen, a fingerprint reader, and a very slim and sexy profile.
Some of the other highlights worth mentioning are the Wi-Fi 6 coverage, a 13 hour battery life, and a backlit keyboard.
Samsung states that these Chromebooks will be delivered by March 1 in the US at least.
