Akyumen Falcon Convertible Projector Tablet Launching
The first batch of the Akyumen Falcon Convertible Projector Tablet appears to have sold out, and had a January 5 shipping date. But now a second batch due for launch on February 6 is taking orders too.
Akyumen Falcon Convertible Projector Tablet is a 10.1-inch Windows 10 tablet with built-in projector, that starts at $699.
It's powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor, has 3GB of RAM, and 128GB storage, with a built-in 45 lumens projector in the front of the tablet. Unfortunately, the design isn't as great as that of the new projector tablet Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro 10 where you can adjust the angle of the projector yourself, so the Akyumen Falcon Projector Tablet needs its own tablet stand to get the right angle if you want to project something into a particular spot.
It has a 6000 / 7380 mAh battery depending on the version, 4G LTE, 5MP and 13MP cameras, and also appears to have typical tablet specs that suits the price range it is in. Unfortunately Akyumen haven't been completely clear with all the specs, so most of the specs are uncertain as of now.
It just got its FCC approval filed online now in the beginning of January too, so we may see more of this tablet in the months to come.
