Acer Tab 8 S – With Quad Speakers And Haptic Feedback
An unofficial tablet by the name of Acer Tab 8 S, has leaked and one of the first things we notice is that it has a memorable design.
Upon closer inspection it appears to be a tablet that is similar to the gaming tablet Acer Predator 8 that was launched in 2015, with its memorable 4 red speakers, with one speaker in each corner.
And according to the leaks, the Acer Tab 8 S tablet, if indeed that is what it is called, is a gaming tablet too with the same virtual surround sound quad array speakers, haptic feedback, and “the latest processor” (Predator 8 has the most powerful Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor).
Other features mentioned are virtual headphones with crosstalk cancellation and dual actuators haptic. The latter is still just vibration motors I believe, but we will see eventually if this tablet will materialize, and if Acer has come up with something new lately.
With a name such a Acer Tab 8 S, an S in the tablet name tends to indicate a retina screen, as we have on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and the value tablets Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
The regular Acer Iconia Tab 8 is an 8-inch Android tablet with Full HD screen.
