10.3-Inch E Ink Tablet Boox Tab Ultra With Keyboard And Pen Unveiled

The newest E Ink tablet from Boox was unveiled for the Western market today, which makes quite an impression when you look at it. It's the 10.3-inch E Ink tablet Boox Tab Ultra with Android 11, which as you can see, has a keyboard and digitizer pen too.

So that puts Boox in a unique position in the space of Digital Paper tablets. And, it has a camera as well.

It's powered by a unspecified octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4GB of LPDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

It features a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta screen with a resolution of 1872 x 1404, with a rear 16MP camera.

OK, so the specs seems pretty good. But, for $599 without the keyboard, or $649 with the keyboard, it also should be. People can get good tablets from Samsung or Apple for that price, with keyboard, so going black and white doesn't save any money.

Looking at the rest of the specs, it runs Android 11, features the Boox Pen2 Pro, a g-sensor, fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, dual mics, a USB C port, and a 6300 mAh battery.

At 480 grams, it's actually heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Model, though it's very thin with a thickness of 6.7mm.

It will launch in the middle of November.
