10.3-Inch Digital Paper Tablet Lenovo Yoga Paper With Android Just Unveiled

While Lenovo haven’t teased this digital paper tablet outside of China yet, they did a full unveiling of the Lenovo Yoga Paper today, their first fully fledged 10.3-inch digital paper tablet with digitizer. It will launch in China on December 13 for 2699 Yuan.

Today’s unveiling comes on the heels of the launch of Amazon’s first e-reader with pen too, the 10.2-inch Kindle Scribe which launched last week to mixed reviews.

Lenovo Yoga paper meanwhile runs Android 11, and is powered by a Rockchip RK3566 processor, with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 2550 mAh battery, and 4096 levels of pressure sensitive digitizer support for the included magnetically attached pen.

With a latency of 23ms, the speed of the capture technology is not cutting edge, as several regular flagship tablets outperform those figures. But if anyone will notice is another matter.

But the pencil experience is the main focus of this particular digital paper tablet, with a strive for a paper like feel, and a selection of many pen nibs to match the typing of a particular writing utensil.

The other focus area is the features and the integration into other operating systems and computers, so that content can be edited back and forth between the Yoga Paper and your or other peoples devices.

That’s exactly what makes these devices useful, but we’ll have to wait and see if Lenovo will launch the Yoga paper in other markets in 2023, before we know which features will be brought elsewhere too.
